STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

As a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, I am dedicated to providing you with the most effective and results-driven training programs. I follow the NASM's Optimum Performance Training (OPT) model, a comprehensive system designed to optimize your fitness journey and achieve your goals.

The OPT model consists of five distinct phases, each serving a specific purpose in your training progression:

Stabilization Endurance: In the initial phase, we focus on enhancing your muscular stability and improving your overall movement patterns. By targeting your core muscles and addressing any muscle imbalances, we establish a solid foundation for future phases.

  • Strength Endurance: Building upon the stabilization phase, we now increase the intensity and challenge your muscles to develop strength and endurance simultaneously. Through a combination of resistance training and higher repetitions, we enhance muscular endurance while maintaining stability.

  • Hypertrophy: This phase is all about muscle growth and increasing muscle size. By implementing specific training techniques and higher loads, we stimulate muscle hypertrophy, leading to increased muscle mass and improved metabolic rate.

  • Maximal Strength: In this phase, we prioritize lifting heavier weights with lower repetitions to maximize your strength gains. By focusing on compound exercises and progressive overload, we enhance your overall strength and power.

  • Power: The final phase is dedicated to power development. We incorporate explosive movements, plyometrics, and high-velocity exercises to enhance your speed, agility, and athletic performance. This phase is especially beneficial for athletes or individuals seeking to improve their sports-specific skills.

 

Consultations and Support: All of our programs include 30-minute consultations at the beginning of each 4-week phase. These consultations provide an opportunity to discuss your goals, address any concerns, and track your progress. Additionally, you will have access to the NASM Edge app, which offers features such as exercise libraries, workout tracking, and nutrition guidance.
